Erwin Tulfo is an anchor on TV5 and 92.3 News FM which is under News5 in the Philippines. Erwin Tulfo is one of the controversial anchor in the Philippines but before we tackle about lets us know Erwin Tulfo background. I know there are some people don’t know Erwin Tulfo background so let me give you a brief description who Erwin Tulfo is. Erwin Tulfo was born on August 10, 1972, which makes him 41 years of age. Erwin Tulfo is the son of Ramon Tulfo, a retired colonel and mother Caridad Teshiba-Tulfo, a plain housewife. Erwin Tulfo brothers are Ramon Tulfo, Ben Tulfo and Raffy Tulfo. They are known in the Philippines as the Tulfo brothers. Erwin Tulfo is married to anchor Karen Padilla, who is currently working on News5 same as her husband. Erwin Tulfo brothers are also an anchor, they worked together on their own show entitled “Tutok Tulfo”. Being an anchor really runs in their blood. As an anchor, it’s not an easy job, well there is no easy job now a days, it will always takes effort and do the best with what you have because it will pays off in the end. Erwin Tulfo is a good anchor but even if he is a good anchor, he faced lots of struggle and controversy especially the airport scene he had with actor Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto. Erwin Tulfo had a fight scene in the airport a long time ago. Erwin Tulfo was punched in the face and kicked with Raymart Santiago and company. It was all started when Erwin Tulfo taped Claudine Barretto making a scene with the airport staff, Claudine was very angry around that time and she caught Erwin Tulfo taking video since she was a celebrity and doesn’t want to ruin her name, she got mad and was very angry to Erwin Tulfo and they ended up fighting in the airport, Erwin Tulfo had suffered minor injury.
