Last month, Senator Jinggoy Estrada of the Republic of the Philippines was set to have a privilege speech for his involvement of the pork barrel scandal. The scandal was exposed last year and it was such shocking news that rocked the Filipino community because we are talking about multi billion peso money in here if we talk about the pork barrel scandal. Jinggoy Estrada is just one of many senators who are involved with the pork barrel scandal and he responded with a privilege speech and defended himself.

As of this moment, the pork barrel scandal is still not over and it is still on trial. We all know that Jinggoy Estrada is the son of the former president of the republic of the Philippines that was charge of plunder case. Would this also mean that Jinggoy Estrada is also a corrupt official because of his involvement in the pork barrel scandal that has been exposed last year? Is this a clear fact that it is a father like son scenario? Well in my own opinion, I can’t tell as of now until the trial will end and the senators that are not involved are doing a great job for this case.

Even though that senator Jinggoy Estrada is involve in the pork barrel scandal case, but that doesn’t mean that he has done nothing as a senator of the country. Of course Jinggoy Estrada also made some achievements of his own as a senator but it is just a sad thing to hear that he is involve with the pork barrel scandal which there would be a big chance that he will be convicted with this case alongside some other senators who are involve too. In my own opinion, I trust the senate and the justice system of the Philippines and for sure they are working so hard right now so that the pork barrel scandal case will come to an end. This particular scandal has been a disturbance for the country and it should conclude soon. Whatever the decision of the case, people in the Philippine should accept it and I would just like to say good luck to Jinggoy Estrada since he is a part of this case and this controversy that has been hitting the headlines for a very long time now.
