Based on his biography, Nielson Pangan graduated from University of the Philippines college of Law and he was only ranked 96th in his class. Nobody expected him to become number 1 in the bar exam of the Philippines. 5,293 examinees took the bar exam and Nielson Pangan managed to beat all of those examinees making him the top 1 student who took the bar exam. The family of Nielson Pangan of course is very proud because nobody ever expected him to become the number 1. There were several names that became bets of their universities but Nielson Pangan showed everyone how deserving he is to become a top notched graduate.
