Etta Rosales is now the chairman of the Commission on Human Rights and before he became the chairman, she experienced a tough time especially during the time of the martial law. Etta Rosales was abused and raped several times in the past during the martial law under Ferdinand Marcos’ dictatorship. Because of what happened to her in the past, she stood up and became the chairman of the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines. It was indeed a tough experience for Etta Rosales but just like any other woman, she was able to fought and right for her rights that’s why right now she is looked up as one of the greatest chairman of the Commission on Human Rights in the Philippines.

Being abused at very young age is such a tragedy but Etta Rosales fought for her freedom and for her rights that’s why she is just rightful enough to become the chairman of the Commission on Human Rights. Right now, Etta Rosales is helping other people especially the woman of the society who are physically and mentally abused. She experience brutality in the past and too much abuse that’s why right now she is willing to help. I can’t see any leader better than the current chairman on the Commission on Human Rights right now in the Philippines. Indeed Etta Rosales is the rightful bearer as chairman of that government organization.

Sometimes in life, we may experience hardships especially if we are abused in the past but that doesn’t mean that our life will end there, we should learn to keep moving forward and that right there my friend is a perfect example to what happened in the life of Etta Rosales. I really appreciate her right now because she has been through a lot in the past and right now she is currently helping the people that are being abused currently. A person with a bad experience truly knows the feeling on how sad and how hard it is to be abused that’s why as a chairman of the Commission on Human Rights in the Philippines, Etta Rosales is right there to help each and every Filipino who are being abused. She is indeed a true leader and a lot of people are looking up on her simply because she resembles a good role model. I hope that the Filipino society will appreciate her job and someday, she will be given an award for the things that she had done in order to help the abused Filipino citizen.
