Despite the fact that Senator Jinggoy Estrada is faced with criticism that he is a corrupt government official and needs to be detained but we should also put into considerations the achievements that he has made for the country. Jinggoy Estrada is the son of the former president of the Philippines Joseph Ejercito Estrada and right now, Jinggoy Estrada is one of the senators of the country. He was voted by the people for a special reason and not only because of the name of his father.

In his senatorial career, Jinggoy Estrada also managed to gain achievements of his own even though a lot of people in the Philippines right now would like him to be detained because of being a corrupt official. If we will disregard that issue and focus on how good Jinggoy Estrada is as a senator of the country, then for sure we will be able to look at the achievements that he has made for the country. In my own personal opinion, we should not judge Jinggoy Estrada that easily, even though he was a son of a former president who was being charged with plunder because of being a corrupt official, but still we should look at the good things that Jinggoy Estrada has done for the country especially on his achievements.

Nobody is perfect and in my own opinion we don’t have the right to lay our fingers towards Jinggoy Estrada and say that he is a corrupt official and he should be detained. We have a proper justice system that could prove whether or not Senator Jinggoy Estrada is really a corrupt official. If he will be proven guilty of all the charges then it will be right for him to be detained in prison just like his father. But as of now, all we need to do is to wait for the proper proceedings to happen.
